About
Mark H. Smith, Esq.
When you do, it's best to trust someone who has nearly two decades of experience litigating complex cases. Born and raised in Elmira, I have been aggressively representing the interests of clients from all over the Southern Tier for 20 years. Although I specialize in Family Law (child custody and child support cases), I also work with cases involving Divorce, Workers Comp, SSI Disability, and Criminal & Personal Injury.
I graduated from Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA with a degree in political science and history. Later, I attended Thomas M. Cooley law school in Lansing, MI where I obtained my Juris Doctorate. I have a wife and three children, and have been active in the community by serving as the president of the board of directors of a local youth center for over 11 years. I can also be seen coaching local youth soccer teams. I also serve as an adjunct instructor at Elmira College and teach civil litigation.
